Their diverse backgrounds and knowledge not only form a stable foundation for the company, but also help them to understand every client and situation.
Marvin E. Vasquez
Marvin E. Vasquez brings to East Coast Logistics And Security more than twenty years of law enforcement experience and fifteen years of private security experience across various industries. He attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice as an undergraduate. As a New York native, Marvin started his law enforcement career in 1985 as a Correction Officer, with the New York City Department of Correction. Later he was appointed as The Confidential Aide to The Correction Commissioner, overseeing a staff of 10,000 uniformed officers and 3,000 civilians. He transitioned to the New York City Transit Police Department, where he worked in various specialized units. After a successful career with this agency, he moved to the New York City Police Department where he also worked in numerous specialized units. Although a very tragic part of his career was September 11th, 2001, the highlight of his career came on December 21, 2001, when he was requested by the President of The United States to appear as his guest at the White House. During his visit, he was honored to receive Presidential Recognition for the actions he took to save lives that day and this recognition was documented in the publication “People” magazine. In February, 2004, Marvin was once again requested by the President of the United States to appear in the Oval Office of the White House and stand next to the President, as he addressed the nation on the anniversary of September 11th. He continued his career with the New York City Police Department until his retirement in 2005.
During this time, Marvin relocated to Florida where he took on various leadership positions such as the Director of Security for General Growth Properties, Operations Manager for the Orange Lake Country Club and Resort, then as the Director of Security for the Stoneybrook West community. In addition to these positions, he holds various State licenses as a State Security Instructor, Security Manager, and Security Officer. He holds certifications for CPR, First Aid and AED where he is a certified Basic Life Support instructor with the American Heart Association. Currently, he provides training in numerous security operations and specialty courses. He functions as Lead Instructor for the Gated Community Security Manager’s Association and is also a member of ASIS and the Fraternal Order of Police.
Kristin M. Stevens

Kristin M. Stevens brings to East Coast Logistics And Security over 15 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Brand Management, Business Development, Human Resources, and Recruiting. Her professional history has given her considerable experience in talent selection, development, and management, organizing powerful teams through professional matchmaking, advising and directing corporate identity, market research and analytics, creating innovative and effective advertising and marketing campaigns, cultivating relationships, and anticipating and exceeding expectations.
She has held various positions such as Advertising & Marketing Director, Head of Business Development, Regional Marketing Manager, Sr. Account Executive, and Lead Recruiter. These opportunities given her an unique perspective across various industries including hospitality, legal, technology, and staff augmentation. In addition to these positions, she is licensed as a Security Officer in the state of Florida.
